THE PATH. THE DESTINATION.

Last Saturday my brother and I went to Thirupathi. From Thirupathi we walked to Thirumalai, uphill, where Lord Venkateshwara stands in his temple with his charming smile granting boons to all those who visit him. It takes about four to four and a half hours. The Lord is so merciful that he wants to see us, and us to see him, even before we reach the destination. So he stands all along the way, in his various forms, as if to say that he is the path as well as the destination.

Ganesha, The Lord of all Beginnings.

Machamurthy, The incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu as a fish.

Koormamurthy, The incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu as a tortoise.

Varahamurthy, The boar-faced incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu.

Narasimhamurthy, The Lion-faced incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu.

Vaamanar, The incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu as a dwarf.

Parasuramar, The incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu as an angry man with full of wrath.

Balaramar, The twin brother Sri Krishna.

Shri Ramar, The most perfect incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu. Incarnation of all goodness. My favourite. :)

Sri Krishna, The Super Human. The complete form of Lord Maha Vishnu. It is impossible to find a character, in mythology, fiction or in history, who can better him in both spiritual and material achievements.
Sri Krishna's feet, cleanser of all sins.

Garuda, Vehicle of Lord Maha Vishnu and an eternal enemy of all snakes.

Lord Hanuman, Ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Incarnation of health. My inspiration and role model.

This is the first time I am posting photos taken by me in this blog. Sri Krishna's foot and garuda were taken by my brother Manivannan.

Hi Ramesh :)

I didn't realise that you have made a posting in your blog. Today I accidentally check and to my great joy and astonishment I saw the new post.

Amazing photos! Very inspiring! I have already told your brother I would like to visit Thirupathi, the abode of the most popular and the richest God in India. I have already been to Sabarimala.

It is interesting and educative to know about the various avatars of the LORD.

The photo by your brother- Sri Krishna's feet- is may favorite. Wonderful and awe inspiring feet!

Many, many thanks for sharing.

Now that you have started, I look forward very eagerly for more posts from you on a regular basis.

Wish you a bright and beautiful day :)

Hello Sir,

I read your comment in my brother's blog too. Nice to hear that you like to visit Thirupathi. In cae you do, I would suggest you to take a walk uphill from Thirupathi to Thirumala. It would be a novel experience.

The photo you chose is indeed the best in this collection. Mani is an excellent photographer. I have decided to put an entire post only with photos taken by him.

Thank you very much.
